Bergegaslah figur mungil dibawa bergerak menuju destinasi. Rumah kaca sudah menanti kehadiran sang bintang yang hari ini tampak cukup berbeda. Senyuman sumringah menghiasi rupa sambil sepasang netra berpendar ke segala arah; bermaksud menyapa tiap-tiap kembang yang bertemu pandang dengan manik kembar sewarna danau kelam kepunyaan Senjakala Merindu.

Hari terakhir bercocok tanam menjadi hari yang paling menyenangkan bagi Senjakala Merindu. Entahlah apabila di masa mendatang ia akan merindukan aktivitas menenangkan ini atau tidak. "Suatu hari di pertengahan bulan April di tahun 2012, aku melihat ibuku bercinta dengan seorang rekan kerja mendiang ayahku," cerita Senjakala dalam sopran berdesibel rendah. "Setelah kejadian itu, aku bisu tujuh bulan. Semua terjadi begitu cepat, tetapi juga terasa lambat di waktu yang sama. Saat bulan November datang, tiba-tiba saja ibuku yang bekerja sebagai jaksa diturunkan dari jabatan. Aku lantas tidak lagi punya sosok ibu yang bisa aku banggakan karena ibuku kabur ke Singapura bersama seorang hakim yang adalah rekan kerja mendiang ayahku. Selingkuhan ibuku itu hakim. Bisa-bisanya mereka berzinah di depan mataku. Haha, hidupku lucu, 'kan?"
