I never learned how to tiptoe around love. I never understood how to separate passion and connection. I don't know how to settle on the surface and I don't want to know either. I love raw vulnerability and uncensored conversation. I don't want to just talk to you, I want to really get to know you. I want to drown in your thoughts and submerge into your mind. I desire a connection that transcends the superficial. My bones ache for intimacy. My heart craves for humanity. My soul yearns with an affinity for all people and all things. And I'm so glad I never sacrificed that authentic desire to connect. I'm so grateful that I never learned how to tiptoe around love.
